Delafield businessman Kevin Nicholson, who finished second in the contest to get the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate, is appearing in a new video supporting his one-time rival state Sen. Leah Vukmir (R-Brookfield) in her campaign against Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI).

“Peace through strength stops wars,” Nicholson says in the ad. “Politicians like Tammy Baldwin don’t get this.”

The ad is paid for by Restoration PAC, a “Super PAC” that endorsed Nicholson in the Republican Primary. The ad is expected to run on television through October 18 while the digital ad will be running through Election Day.

In the ad, Nicholson criticizes Baldwin’s support for the Iran deal signed by President Barack Obama.

“Baldwin backed the Iran deal that sent billions of dollars to the #1  state sponsor of terror,” Nicholson says. “No matter what Tammy Baldwin says, sending cash to terrorists is not a formula for peace. We can’t trust Tammy Baldwin with our future.”

Nicholson finishes with an appeal to vote for Vukmir for Senate in the November 6 election.
