Saying the economy is strong, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) and state Senate President Roger Roth (R-Appleton) issued the invitation on Thursday to Governor Scott Walker to give the State of the State address on January 24.
The state of the state address will largely be a campaign speech as Walker touts his administration’s accomplishments, including low unemployment and increased spending on education.
