State Rep. Dana Wachs, D-Eau Claire, is running for governor of Wisconsin. Wachs, a trial lawyer, has a history of introducing legislation that would benefit Wachs and his fellow trial lawyers. WISN’s Dan O’Donnell has created “the perfect campaign ad” for Wachs, explaining:
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Wachs, a trial lawyer, ‘sponsored legislation to give victims exposed to asbestos more ability to bring lawsuits as well as to give parents the right to sue for the loss of their adult children to medical malpractice.”
In other words, he introduced bills that would lead to more work for trial attorneys like Dana Wachs.
