Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and his attempts to minimize the attack on the Capitol on January 6 to prevent the certification of the election has attracted national attention. CNN came to Wisconsin to find out what his constituents think about the senator’s conspiracy theories, including an interview with editor James Wigderson.
“He is still seeing himself as a leader of a Republican Party in Wisconsin that supports him, believes in him, and he doesn’t see the damage that he’s doing,” Wigderson said. “I’m getting emails from people that were longtime Republicans that are saying, what the heck happened to Ron Johnson and what is going on with our Republican Party?”
