WMC Statement on DNR Secretary Dan Meyer
MADISON – On Monday, Gov. Scott Walker appointed Dan Meyer to be the new Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Secretary. After the appointment was announced, WMC Senior Vice President of Government Relations Scott Manley released the following statement:
“WMC and our members thank Gov. Walker for selecting Dan Meyer as the next DNR Secretary. Meyer – a former state representative, mayor and chamber of commerce executive director – has a unique background that makes him well-prepared to run the agency. The business community looks forward to working with him in his new role.”
