If you thought that the “The Hop,” Milwaukee’s new streetcar, was going to be annoying before, wait until you watch the “safety video” discovered by WISN’s Jay Weber:
Yes, the streetcar is going to be a menace to traffic and will even damage your car while it is parked. Imagine when it snows and the city doesn’t plow the parking areas well enough so you can’t see the line or park close to the curb. Oh wait, that’s right. The streetcar probably won’t work in the snow and the ice anyway.
The good news is Milwaukee includes a helpful map of the route of the streetcar in the video – so you can decide to avoid the area completely.
