The Democratic Party has found another sacrificial lamb to take on Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner, but where and when? The Associated Press is reporting Brookfield resident Tom Palzewicz, a business consultant, will take on the long-serving congressman.
The Associated Press also breaks some news about time travel.
“Sensenbrenner has held the seat since 2003.”
The news was so significant Wisconsin Public Radio made it a subhed:
Actually, Sensenbrenner was elected to Congress in November 1978. The seat he held was renumbered the 5th district after redistricting following the 2000 census. Before that, Sensenbrenner’s district was the 9th, but Wisconsin lost a congressional seat in that redistricting. The congressman who represented the 5th district, Milwaukee County’s northern half, before the redistricting was Tom Barrett.
