It’s the inaugural RightWisconsin Conversations Podcast. Each week we’ll talk to the newsmakers and interesting people of conservative politics in Wisconsin.
This week we visited state Senator Dave Craig, R-Town of Vernon, to talk about his vote against the state budget, zero-based budgeting, and not giving up your rights if you keep the city assessor out of your home. Also, why did Craig decide to get involved in politics?
“You see the way that government, whether it’d be by over-environmental regulation, over-licensure, over-taxation, from all levels of government: local, state, federal. And you see how that weighs down a family and how that family can succeed. And it’s really hard, I think, to go through that process as a kid seeing your parents struggle and not have a keen appreciation for the American Dream.”
